RESOLUTION NO. 525 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT -"' COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH �r BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57. WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Department of Re- development is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project, pursuant to the Urban Renewal for Project No. Indiana R -57 adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January, 1966; and W}iEREAS, the Urban Renewal calls for the sale for re- development by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said plan; and 1 WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project, and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: REDEVELOPER PARCEL NO. PRICE Whitfield Hunt (Sub- Standard 25 -5 $140.00 lot) NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Re- development Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of'Redevelopment, that the Execu- tive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper and FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Re- development Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim Deed(s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s). Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held in Office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46601 on the 18th day of June, 1976.
