RESOLUTION NO. 523 Awl RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOP- MENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXE- CUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57. WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Department of Redevelop- ment is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project, pursuant to the Urban Renewal for Project, No. Indiana R -57 adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January, 1966; and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal calls for the sale for re- development by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said plan; and WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a pro- posal to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project, and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes ofthe State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: REDEVELOPER PARCEL NO. PRICE Earlie Bates, Jr. (Unbuildable) 15 -14 $136.00 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelop- ment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelop- ment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper; and FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim Deed(s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s). Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelop- ment Commission held in Office of the Commission, 1200 County - City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46601, on the 4th day of June, 1976.
