RESOLUTION NO. 517 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE RE- DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED (S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57 WHEREAS, the City of South is carrying out the Urban Renewal f Park Project, pursuant to the Urban Indiana R -57 adopted by the Council Indiana by Resolution No. 127 -66 on and Bend Department of Redevelopment or an Area known as the LaSalle Renewal Plan for Project No. of the City of South Bend, the 24th day of January, 1966; WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for re- development by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said plan; and WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: REDEVELOPER PARCEL NO. PRICE Leroy Miller, Liberty St. 12 -24 & 12 -3 $404.00 Ben Miles, Jr., N. Chicago 29 -3 $150.00 W. M. Whiting, Camden 13 -2, 13 -3 & 13 -4 $512.00. UNBUILDABLE PARCELS NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed (s) for the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper; and FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim Deed (s) and that °the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed (s). Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held in the Office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana 46601, on the 5th day of September, 1975.
