rA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 514 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING <br />BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHOR- <br />IZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION <br />OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF <br />TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE <br />PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57 <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, <br />is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park <br />Project, pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for Project No. INDIANA R -57, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana by Resolution <br />No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January, 1966; and <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelop- <br />ment by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with <br />the provisions of said plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal <br />to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and th<<t <br />said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes <br />of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes <br />governing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: <br />Parcel No. Name Amount <br />28 -39 Henry Lawshea $ 614.00 <br />27 ft. of <br />28 -23 Willie Wilks 272.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission, governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelop- <br />ment, that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is author- <br />ized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed(s) for the <br />purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper; and <br />FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />mco ission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim <br />Deed(s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest <br />said Agreement and Deed(s). <br />Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />mission held on June 20, 1975, in the Office of the Commission, Room 1200, <br />County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana, 46601. <br />I1 <br />ggins, Secr ry <br />(SEAL) <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />
