1 A RESOLUTION NO. 491 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN PROJECT INDIANA A -10 /SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 1. WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the Neighborhood Development Program Southeast Neighborhood Project, pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for Project Indiana A -10 /Southeast Neighborhood No. 1, adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 370 -73 on April 30, 1973; and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said plan; and WHEREAS, the Board of Park.Commissioners of South Bend, Indiana has submitted a proposal to redevelop certain parcels within the Project area and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes govern- ing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to have prepared a Redevelopment Agreement and a QuitClaim Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying the property described in Exhibit "A" to the proposed redeveloper and FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and QuitClaim Deed(s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s). Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on July 19, 1974, in the office of the Commission, Room 1200, County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
