ORDINANCE # S ~12-0~ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA APPROPRIATING $385,416 RECEIVED FROM THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT'S SHELTER PLUS CARE GRANT PROGRAM <br />WITHIN FUND 212 -COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to provide housing & services to seriously physically and mentally ill individuals <br />within our community, the City of South Bend received funds from the U.S. Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development for the delivery of such services through various subgrantees. <br />The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the costs of housing and provide <br />services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana: <br />Section I. The sum of $385,416 is hereby appropriated and allocated among accounts as <br />set forth below: <br />Madison Center, Gateway Apartments ................$96,864 <br />Madison Center, Madison Apartments .............$243,840 <br />Aids Ministries/Aids Assist ...........................$44,712 <br />Section lI.
