RESOLUTION NO. 485 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION <br />FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD IEiVELOPMENT <br />PROGRAM PROJECT -IN A -10 <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment did <br />on the lst day of September 1972, file an application for a Neighbor- <br />hood Development Program Project IN -A -10 under title I of the Housing <br />Act of 1949 as amended; and <br />WHEREAS, the application mentioned in the above paragraph was <br />approved by the United States Government, Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development, hereinafter referred to as HUD; and <br />WHEREAS, HUD has received authority from the office of Manage- <br />went and Budget to allocate additional funds for Neighborhood Develop- <br />ment Programs in order to sustain operations at the local level from <br />June 30, 1974, thru December 31, 1974; and <br />WHEREAS, HUD has calculated that these additional allocations <br />shall equal $266,800.00. <br />Now Therefore, be it RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment: <br />1. That the United States of America and the Secretary of <br />Housing and Urban Development be, and they hereby are, assured of <br />full compliance by the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment <br />with regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />g effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and applicable <br />F, <br />Executive Orders. <br />2. That an application on behalf of the City of South Bend, <br />Department of Redevelopment for a loan under Section 102(a) of said <br />Title I in the amount of $ 1,404,962.00 and for a program <br />capital grant, and a Federal grant shall be prepared and that the <br />Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute and to <br />file such application with the Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development, to provide such additional information and to furnish <br />such documents as may be required in behalf of said Department, and to <br />
