RESOLUTION NO. 444 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING <br />BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHOR- <br />; IZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION <br />OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER <br />OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE <br />LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is carrying out <br />the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project, pursuant <br />to the Urban Renewal Plan for Project No. IND. R -57, adopted by the Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day <br />of January, 1966; and <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment by public <br />or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of <br />said Olan; and <br />WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to redevelop <br />certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said proposal has <br />been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of <br />' Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale <br />ILof Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: <br />Parcel No. Name Amount <br />1 -14 Joe Chavis <br />$128.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the <br />Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare <br />a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed(s) for the purpose of convey- <br />ing said land to the proposed redeveloper; and <br />FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is <br />authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim Deed(s) <br />and that the Secretary of the Commission -is hereby authorized to attest said <br />Agreement and Deed(s). <br />Adopted at the Special Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />held on April 19, 1973, in the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />ATTEST: <br />� -40 <br />" a, � � J� � � <br />Rdv.
