RESOLUTION NO. 443 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE <br />FILING AND SUBMISSION OF AN AMENDATORY APPLICATION FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />GRANT FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING AND MAKING ADDITIONAL SECTION 115 <br />REHABILITATION GRANTS FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT PROJECT INDIANA E -5 <br />WHEREAS; the City of South Bend has entered into a contract with the <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development, said contract being dated May 11, 1972 <br />for the financing and carrying out of Code Enforcement Project of the Model Neighbor- <br />hood, designated as project number Indiana E -5; and <br />WHEREAS; there is a need in the project area for additional Section 115 <br />Rehabilitation Grant financing in order to assure a measure of success in the <br />project area; and <br />WHEREAS; the Department of Housing and Urban Development has indicated <br />that additional Section 115 Rehabilitation monies are available; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that it hereby <br />approves the submission of an Amendatory Application for Code Enforcement Grant and <br />hereby authorizes and directs the Executive Director to prepare an Amendatory Appli- <br />cation and to petition the City Council to authorize the submission of said Amendatory <br />and further authorize the Mayor to sign any necessary contracts and documents for the <br />Amendatory. <br />Adopted this 16th day of March, 1973 at a regular meeting of the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission at its office located at 1200 County City Building, <br />227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />f <br />Fred J. el en, President <br />ATTEST: <br />otRev.
