At the Regular Meeting of <br />the Redevelopment Commission; held <br />on April 20, 1979, a Motion was <br />made and passed to simply rescind <br />a prior Resolution ( 1560). Therefore, <br />this resolution is null and void. <br />70N NO. 576 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, <br />GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOP- <br />MENT AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND AND EXECUTION <br />OF QUIT -CLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO <br />IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE ACQUIRED IN THE LASALLE PARK <br />PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is <br />carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project <br />pursuant to the Urban Renewal plan for the Project, Indiana R -57, adopted by the <br />Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the <br />24th day of January, 1966 and <br />WHEREAS, the following property owners have proposed to sell the <br />below mentioned real estate to the Department of Redevelopment with said parcels <br />being: <br />PARCEL NUMBER NAME AMOUNT <br />13-6 & 13-7 R. K. & Bertha Norman $200.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the <br />Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare an <br />Agreement and a Quit -Claim Deed(s) for the purpose of acquiring said land; and <br />FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />is authorized to execute said Agreement and Quit -Claim Deed(s) and that the <br />Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s). <br />Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />held on the 20th day of April, 1979, in the Office of the Commission, Room 1200 <br />County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />dent <br />ATTEST: <br />y <br />.Secretary <br />
