"n 3 rnoca n n ' IV zo c C� (/I Op ,J 'rn :;0 m f_n WHEREAS, on February 8, 1985, the City of South Bend Redevelopment Commission (Commission), governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment, adopted Resolution No. 729, redeclaring the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Area to be blighted and amending the Urban Renewal Plan; and WHEREAS, on February 19, 1985, the Area Plan Commission of St. Joseph County, Indiana, by Resolution No. 83, approved, ratified and confirmed the Commission's Resolution No. 729; and WHEREAS, on February 25, 1985, the Common Council of the City of South Bend was presented with a proposed resolution, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, approving the Commission's amendments to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Project, Indiana R -66; and WHEREAS, on March 25, 1985, the Common Council voted not to approve the resolution in Exhibit A. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, as follows: 1. Resolution No. 729 of the City of South Bend Redevelopment Commission redeclaring the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Area to be blighted and amending the Urban Renewal Plan, is hereby rescinded. 2. Nothing herein shall be construed to have any effect on previous resolutions of the Commission concerning the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Area. 3. Resolution No. 690, adopted by the Commission October 14, 1983, and confirmed by Resolution No. 694, adopted January 13, 1984, remains in full force and effect. Adopted at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on April 26, 1985, at the office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
