RESOLUTION NO. 710 <br />ew A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION COMMENDING <br />KEVIN C. HORTON FOR MERITOROUS SERVICE <br />TO THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, a young Notre Dame graduate joined the <br />Redevelopment Department six years ago to begin a career of <br />public service; and <br />WHEREAS, this young man, Kevin C. Horton, distinguished <br />himself through dedicated service and assistance to the <br />community's economic development activities; and <br />WHEREAS, several small new businesses profited from his <br />assistance; and <br />WHEREAS, he steadfastly represented the interests of <br />the community and business development to the Business <br />Development Corporation, the Enterprise Zone, and the Chamber of <br />Commerce's Small Business Council; and <br />WHEREAS, after six years of dedicated service he is <br />leaving his position as Deputy Director to join the Holladay <br />Corporation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission, governing body of the City of South <br />Bend's Department of Redevelopment, that the name of Kevin C. <br />Horton be engraved in the minutes of this meeting in commendation <br />of his diligent and dedicated efforts, and let it be known that <br />the Commission's good wishes go with him. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of June, 1984. <br />Ja N mtz, resident <br />Paula N.
