c <br />`*W <br />16%� <br />WHEREAS, the Development Plan,.adoptedj ?y Declaratory Resolution <br />No. 626, adopted on October 3, 1980 and'cdn'firmed by Resolution No. <br />630 adopted on December 19, 1980 has been amended by the following: <br />(1) Resolution No. 632 adopted on January <br />16,1981 and confirmed by Resolution No. 634 <br />adopted on March 2, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners did, on March 11, 1983, adopt <br />Declaratory resolution No. 678 redeclaring, among other things, the <br />East Bank Development Area to be blighted and amending the Development <br />Plan by adding an additional parcel to the acquisition list; and <br />WHEREAS, as required by law, the St. Joseph County Area Plan <br />Commission and the South Bend common Council have considered and <br />approved said Resolution No. 678 and the Development Plan, and, <br />subsequently, the Commissioners did, on April 22, 1983, hold a public <br />hearing for the purpose of presenting said Resolution No. 678 and to <br />hear and consider remonstrances concerning said resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, said Redevelopment of Cities and Towns Act of 1953, as <br />amended, requires that the Commissioners, after such hearing and <br />consideration, shall take final action determining the public utility <br />and benefit of the project, either confirming, modifying, or <br />rescinding Resolution No. 678; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners desire to confirm said resolution No. <br />678 with out modification; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the City <br />of South Bend Department of Redevelopment that it will be of public <br />utility and benefit to proceed with the plan of redevelopment as set <br />forth in Resolution No. 678 referred to in the WHEREAS clauses above, <br />and that said Resolution No. 678 is hereby approved, ratified and <br />confirmed. <br />Adopted at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />held on April 22, 1983, at the Office of the Commission, 1200 <br />County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />tary <br />`r. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />w <br />c,� <br />r <br />F.
