Mr. Downes asked, since Resolution No. 2430 lists the approved vendors, what is the process for new service providers to get on the Commission’s approved list. Mr. Leone responded that we could either write the resolution more broadly or approve a new resolution each year with an updated list of vendors. Mr. King suggested the resolution say vendors must be on the list of approved vendors; then staff could have a process for expanding the list. Mr. Leone asked for the Commissioners’ preferences as to the maximum amounts the staff is authorized to engage without prior Commission approval. Commissioners asked staff to research common costs and make a recommendation to the Commission at its next meeting.
