Beard metin special sess ion , at 1.30 P.M.All members present. <br />Meeting held in Common Council rooms. Mayor Carson present. <br />Mr. Wm. Maurer contractor for spiral stair in Engineering office <br />in City Hall. appeared before the Board and the matter of the communication <br />received -April 11th.,1919 was discussed and the Board instructed clerk to <br />endorse same into contract,. <br />This being the date set for deferred. hear ing on the matter of <br />Track Separation of the New York Central Ry. Company tracks in this City under <br />Mod.if ied tmp ' Res glut icon No. 2 also the matter of the depressing or elimination - <br />of tracks on Division. Street -of the Grand Trunk _Ry. Company was deferred until <br />this date. <br />Att off"n.ey Wm. G. Crab ill and H. S. Going Civil Engineer representing <br />The Grand Trunk Western .Railway Compapy met with the Board and Mr. Crabill <br />explained -about the Grand Trunk WG stern Ry.. Co. rs right of way on Division Street <br />and Mr. H. S. Going explained about a plan that was suggested at one time under the <br />former. administrat ion for eliminating tracks off of Division Street from Michigan <br />street for nine blocks, by detouring ,through Studebaker Field -near Greenlawn <br />Avenue and coning in along the New York Central Right of way, but that no action <br />was ever taken on same, <br />Mr. Going informed the Board he had no power to act on this matter <br />It was decided: to defer 'this hearing until Tuesday April 29th.,191g at 1:30 P.M. <br />at which time Mr. Kelley, Mr. Rabb and Mr. Alfred Federal Manager of the railroad <br />would be requested to attend, and if this date was not convenient, a date would be <br />set later when they could cane. <br />President. <br />
