Whitcomb, Secretary. <br />Street Commissioner Layton filed the following report with the <br />Board but no action was taken on same. <br />April lst.,1919. <br />Beard of Public Works., , <br />Mayor Carson requests me to call to your attention, regarding <br />the Water Works blowing their hydrant and tearing the street to streets the pieces. ON Macadam <br />im�a s 19 great and dirt streets- the dirt is blown to app6s1te <br />side of the street covering sewer inlets and' cutting deep and dangerous holes in same <br />D. C. Layton, <br />C ommund.e.at ion received from H. S. Cover in regard to re-arrang- <br />ing poles on Chippewa Avenue and Michigan Street. The Pole and wire inspector <br />reports- that these are Home Telephone Company poles and the whole line should be <br />removed to the curb when the curb line Is placed. <br />The Board ordered` the Central Union Telephone Company notified <br />to removb telephone pole now located at 1610 Prairie`Avenue to the east about ten <br />(10) feet. <br />
