50 S <br />l9Lt <br />The Board neat considered Improvement Resolution No. 613 adopted <br />February 5th., 1919 for the improvement of Clive Street from Lincoln Way West to <br />Washington Street and from Division Street to Sw#le .Street. A written remon- <br />strance was filed which remonstrance was over -ruled by the Board and remonstrators <br />appeared in person. The preliminary resolution was mod if ied to ` retain the present <br />curb. The Board `now find that the aggregate benefits will not equal the maximin <br />esti�aated cost of such improvement as filed by the City CIVil.: ineer, The Board <br />farther fold that the aggregate benefits that will accrue totheIproperty will equal <br />5-0% of the aggregate value.of the property -as assessed for taxation, exclusive <br />of improvements -and -,exclusive ofhhe 'coot of street intersections. The preliminary <br />-resolut ion as above mod if ied --is hereby in all things, rat if ied, conf firmed and <br />approved. The Board further resolve that no notices Tfor receiving of blds be <br />advertised until the espiration of the ten (10) day remonstrance period as now <br />provided by law. <br />The Board next cons-dered Improvement Resolution No. 614 adopted <br />by February 3th. , 1919 _for the impovemen- of Ford Stre°e-t from Olive Street Street <br />to a point 345 feet east of the t 11ne of Kosciusko Street, .an the City t <br />South Bend, Indiana. ` <br />No remonstrances filed and no remonstrators appeared. ate <br />preliminary resolution was modified to�rotain the present curb. TheBo%rdL,now. <br />find that the ag egate benefits. will not equal the maximum estimated cost of such <br />Improvement as filed by the City Civil Engineer. The Board further find. that <br />-the aggregate benefitsthat will accrue to the property will equal 50% of the <br />aggregate value. -of the property as :assessed for taxation, exclusive of Improvements <br />and exclusive of the cost of street Intersections. The <br />Board after hearing all the interested roperty owners present, decided to -defer all <br />action on said resolution untl Wednesday March 26th. , 1919 at 7:15 P-M The Board <br />ordered that the remonstrance be referred b the City Engdeer to be checked up and <br />a written report filed Wednesday March 26th.,1919 at 7015 P.M- <br />0 <br />
