7S <br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. Mr. G. A. Elliott <br />absent. Mr. H. F. Rost iser, Vice President Acting President <br />s <br />-v <br />This being the dat4 set for the informal hearing on petition for <br />pavement on Leer Street ind FAx Street. In the above matter remonstrators <br />appeared and a written remonstrance 'was filed. The Beard decided after hearing <br />all -interested property owners present for and against said improvement to order <br />a resolution prepared for a pavement on Leer Street from Calvert Street to Ewing <br />Avenue and on 11pa Street from Leer Street to Bast Side Addition, <br />Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 619 for pipe sewer on <br />Lincoln Way Pest from point approximately 1436 Fett west of the center line of <br />Olive Street to the westerly City Limits, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon said.heering a remonstrator appeared but no written remon- <br />strance was .filed, And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that <br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to <br />the estimated cost of the samo, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there- <br />upon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is <br />hereby in all things rat if iedp confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 7th., day of <br />March 1919 and on the 14th., day of March 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, <br />in said City, -stating that this Board - will receive bids for the construction of <br />said improvements up to 10:�00 A.M. on the 25th., day of March 1919. The Beard <br />reserves the right to reject any and all b-ids. <br />F Citizens residing on South Michigan Street and property owners on <br />said Street met with the Board and requested that the petition filed sometime ago <br />for grade, curb and walk on South Michigan Street be set down for hearing. The <br />Board after hearing all interested property owners ordered a resolution prepared <br />for grade, curb and silk on West side of South Michigan Street Prom.Ewing Avenue <br />to 750 feet south of Chippewa A venue. <br />Deferred hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on Brookf iled <br />Street from Ford Street to a point 110 feet south of the south line of Division <br />Street# under.Improvement Resolutlon No. 597. <br />r <br />The Board decided to defer all action on said resolut ion until <br />Wednesday March 12th.,1919 at 7:15 P.M. Clerk instructed to*notify property <br />owners if they wanted f ifteq) (15") inch pipe, they should file a majority petition <br />with the Board at that t ime. ' <br />S. M. Robinson and propertyowner on Division Str et appeared before <br />the Board and'requested.lot a sewer and pavement be construe in and along <br />Division Street from Olive Street to -City Limits. The Board beferred this matter <br />to F. J. Anderson, City Engineer for a property list on said' Division Street. <br />Deferred hearing had on resolution for pavement on Fellows Street <br />from Division Street to Monroe Street and from Sample Street to Dubail Avenue, <br />under Improvement Resolution No. 591. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrator& appeared no further written -- <br />remonstrance filed. The Board decided to defer -all action until Wednesday March <br />12th. ,1919. at 7:15 P.M. <br />
