The Board decided to refer all action until FrIday.1fthruary 28thm01919 <br />at 10: 00 A.M. <br />Mr.•Geo. M. Urey,°Sexton of the City Cemetery Department appeared <br />before the, Board and recommended that the prices of grave be estimated at <br />6.00 for plan grave and small graves portionally, and that vaults be sold at <br />$35.00 and that vaults to be used elsewhere to be priced at $25.00 , this same <br />scale of prices to be the same as those charged in other cemeteries in South Bend. <br />The Board adopted the recommendation of the Cemetery Sexton. <br />In regard to complaint filed by V. R Roberts of water standing <br />after every rain on sidewalk of New York Central Lines ( right of way) east and <br />west side of Tracks on Bronson- Street North side of street from one -to three inches <br />deep, the street commissioner reported -as follows: - <br />The above complaint is correct <br />the sidewalk is low or the lawn space is high. Allowing water to stand on walk. <br />Would recommend notice being sent to N. Y. C. R. R. to drain sidewalk. <br />D. C. Layton, <br />Street Commissioner. <br />The Board instructed Street Commissioner to send proper, not ices <br />and proceed to have c and it ion remedied. <br />. A lengthypetition filed by residett property owners in River Park <br />requesting the Board to erect a Hose House in River Park. Same read and placed <br />on file for future consideration. <br />
