LOCAL SEWER IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 598. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, County of.St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the construction of a local sewer, intended and adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and not intended and adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains., be and the same is, hereby ordered in and along Walnut Street from Ford Street to a point 230 -feet north of the: north line of Ford Street as fdllows,to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of t. Walnut Street ; ithenew.rth along the center feet na b h of toe north lime of Ford Street w Together with the necessary manholes, storm w house connections to the curb line along the more particularly shown and all in accordance drawings and specifications on file in the of: Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and shall be -constructed in accordance with the p: in the office of the. A bond or bonds shall be issued to the contractor in payment for such work u nless the property hwners pay said assessments before said bond or bonds are issud .Uzider no circumstances shall the City of South .Bend be or be held responsible for any sum or sums due from said property owner or owners for said work, or for the collection of same, or for the payment of any bond or bonds, certificate or certi- ficates, issued to said -contractor in payment for said work, except for such moneys as shall have been actually received by the City from the assessments, for such improvement, or such moneys. as sdid City is by said above entitled Act required to pay. All proceedings had, and work done in the making of said improvement,, assessment of property, collections of assessments and issuance of bonds therefor, shall be an provided for in said above entitled Act. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th., day of January 1919 and on the 1st. day of February 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune. .,his Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th. , day of February 1919 at 7:15 P.M.
