H..Westervelt, Attorney Crumpacker, H. G. Christman, Mr . Austin and Mr. Gill of <br />Pla.tz & Gill Contractors, Attorney Crumpacker started to the Baard� that he would have <br />Mr.`- plats call and. see -Mr. W. D. Teeple Commissioner of Buildings in reSsAd to the <br />remodeling of said building of the Bissell. Chilled Plow Works so that it will comply <br />with the Building Code .if same can be done without taomuch expense. The Board,,ether <br />decided <br />to continue. this matter until W.. D. Teeple Building Commissioner would get to <br />a <br />with Mr. Platz� and c out inupd this matter until Tuesday Januar y 7th:,1918 at 10:00 A.M. <br />Mr. E. -R,. Austin submitted plans for the remodeling <br />of the Beard <br />of Works <br />office into a water works office. <br />This matter deferred until <br />Tuesday January <br />7th..91918 <br />at 10: 00. A.M. <br />• Geo. Hoffman contractor <br />an the Miami Street Grading <br />contract <br />appeared <br />before the Board and requested an <br />exjaens ion of time on said <br />contract. Two <br />weeks was <br />granted by the Board in which to <br />complebe .contract. <br />The following w ithdrawel of the pr epos it ion of the Beyer Floral <br />Company for the sale of land to the City of South Bend was presented to the Board. <br />by Vitus Jones by mail and same was read and placed on file. <br />To the C ity of South Bend <br />Through its Board of Pub 1 is War ks , <br />In the year 19170 The Beyer Floral Company, under the heading <br />" Communication and. Proposition", offered to sell Ito tha City of South Bend Through <br />its Board of Public Works certain lands leading from Mishawaka Avenue southeasterly <br />and past the Sample Street Biiidge and along the river at a certain price. Thereafter <br />a Supplemental c ommunicat ion and Proposition was made to the City through its Bard of <br />Park commissioners.
