Westervelt property <br />Known as the Bissell Bhilled Plow Works located on lots 13.14 and, 15 Manufacturers <br />Add it ion on ,E . Colfax Avenue, under c ondemnat ion, by the Building Department, appeared <br />before the Board in regard to extension of. t ime` on notice. This matter was continued <br />until Friday December 27th. ,1918 at 10: 00 A.M. <br />County 'Commissioner' Edward Zeitler appeared before the Board <br />and stated that hhe County Commissioners have a petition for the improvement of the <br />road from the City Limits to the termination of the present pavement on Edwardsburg <br />Road by paving same with asphaltic concrete, and requested the Board of Works to have <br />co-operate with them by installing a pavement to the City limits on South Bend Avenue <br />from where pavement now ends in City. The matter was discussed by the Board and the <br />Board decided to start a resolution for the paving of South Bend Avenue to the City <br />Limits the advertisement to run concurrently with the improvement resolution of the <br />County and bids to be let by the City to the same contractor that County does to do the <br />same contract. ° <br />It was ordered by the Beard that the salary of Charles Johnson <br />Janitor of City Hall be dnereased from$85.00 per month to $100.00 per month, same to <br />start January lst.,1919. <br />The f ollfwing Court order was received read and placed an file <br />and following resolution adopted. <br />STATE OF IHD IANA ) <br />ST.
