Company appeared before `the Board in regard to the'leas:ing of ground <br />owned by the City for a saw mill. This matter was referred to the Water Dept., <br />to 'be taken up at regular session on Wednesday morning. <br />The Board approved of the order given Miller and Snirke'on December <br />,6th.,1916 for 1-7 tons of Illinois, coal at $7.00 ,por ton, <br />Mr. David Vaughan representinglks 7. C. Westervelt part owner <br />in the Bissell Plow Company building, appeared before the Board in regard to notice <br />received From the Building Department of this City condemning" said building, which <br />is.oea#�dn ;thQ:^ south._ s ide of the Colfax Avenue bridge, and requested an extens ion <br />of time on said notice. The Board took no action ,in regard to the extension of time <br />but decided to await' the completion of the notice which . would be' on Friday December <br />20th. ,1918, at which time the Board would sea the c and it ion of the Building and <br />see whether it was possible for Mr. E. C. Westervelt to arrive in the City from Texas <br />It was the sense .of the Board that no extension be given that would involve the City <br />in'any ext#net. Mr. W. D. Ha'rrop contractor on the Marquette Park <br />sewer system the_ ,sum of .................`. 2, 301.97 <br />Mr. Bruno De Peape, Contractor appeared before the Board in regard <br />to collecting the amount due for extra work put in for the White Construction <br />Company on Dubail Avenue. It was decided by the Board that no action be taken by <br />the City in this matter. <br />In regard to bill of the W. W. Sibley. Co. for installing of <br />tap on the Beyler property on So. Michigan St. submitted in 1917, the Board <br />instructed clekk t#: ratify. W. W. Sibley Company that -the City would pay one half <br />the amount of said Bill. ° y <br />By unanimous consent of the Board, one <br />42 inch Pease Peerless <br />Blue print machine equipped for 20 Volts A. C. <br />60 cycle <br />current was ordered - <br />purchased from the C. F.
