Board met in regular session at 7: 15 P.M. All m,�mbers present.. <br />Deferred hearing had on resolution for the opening of ally north of <br />Madison Street from Lafayette Blvd. to lst. alley ,west under .Condemntion Resolution No. <br />52, In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter Mr. Bugbee and Mr. Harry Schock, property owners <br />in favor of said opening, appeared before the Board also Attorney. H. W. We it representing <br />the School Board was present. The Board after due consideration decided to, sustain <br />the remonstrance ; iled by the School City under date of September 25t h. ,1918 and as shown <br />on pa9e321 and 322 of this record, and informed property owners present that they would <br />have the School Board give an easement to the City to toDke care of utilities wires if <br />this is every ordered in the underground district. The Board therefore deferred the <br />rescinding of said resolution until such an agreement was received from the School Board <br />and deferred this matter until Wednesday October 16th. ,1918 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Deferred hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for <br />High Street and Ewing'Avenue Trunk sewer system under Improvement Resolution No. 503 <br />In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />. In the above matter :remonstrators appeared and written remonstrances <br />were filed. ( The Board waived Jill rules in regard to fhe filing of written remonstrances <br />and allowed same to be filed at this hearing.) <br />The Board after considering written remonstrances and lifter- hearing <br />&LI interested property°owners present, the Board decided to defer this hearing until <br />Wednesday October 16th., 1918 at 7:15 P.M. <br />( The following property owners present at above hearing Mr. J. <br />Chillas and Wm.
