3. The City shall have first right to salvage all signal equipment. <br />4. Signal Cable: An additional six (6') feet of wire shall be coiled in each handhole. <br />5. All new conduit connections to existing hand holes shall be core drilled. <br />6. All necessary hardware and anchor bolts to install the new signal heads and backplates <br />will be furnished by the Contractor and not paid for directly but included in the various traffic <br />signal items. <br />7. All signal, power, or fiber optic conduits shall be 2-IN. CONDUIT, PVC, 2-IN, SCHEDULE <br />80 will be paid for at the contract unit price per LFT installed. The cost of all labor, material, <br />utility and equipment necessary to complete the work shall be included in the unit price. <br />Any required drilling or coring of existing handholes shall be included in the conduit unit <br />price. <br />8. SIGNAL CABLE 5C/14 and SIGNAL CABLE, 7C/14 shall be paid for at the contract unit <br />price per linear foot (LFT) installed. The cost of all labor, material, utility, and equipment <br />necessary to complete the Work shall be included in the respective contract unit prices for <br />signal wire. <br />XL. The items which are indicated herein as undistributed shall be used only as directed by the <br />Engineer. All undistributed items will be field measured by the Engineer to determine the <br />quantity for payment. Quantities of undistributed items needed in addition to those <br />indicated will be paid for at the contract unit price as shown on the Itemized Proposal and <br />Declarations. <br />2.
