REGULAR MEETING January 28, 2019 <br /> Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met in the Council <br /> Chambers of the County-City Building on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting <br /> was called to order by Council President Tim Scott and the Invocation (Pastor Jeffrey Kennedy, <br /> Southgate Church) and Pledge to the Flag were given. Molnar OVB Clerk <br /> Bob Palmer Council Attorney <br /> REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br /> Council President Tim Scott announced Bill Nos. 19-05, 69-18, 19-01 and 19-03 are tabled for this <br /> meeting. <br /> Councilmember Karen White made a motion that the minutes of the January 14th, 2019 meeting <br /> of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of eight (8) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> BILL NO. <br /> 19-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> WARNING AREA RESIDENTS OF THE <br /> DANGERS AND PREVALENCE OF HUMAN <br /> TRAFFICKING IN THIS AREA <br /> Councilmember Jake Teshka, 2419 Chestnut Drive, South Bend, IN, served as a presenter for this <br /> bill. Councilmember Jake Teshka stated, A Resolution of the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana warning area residents of the dangers and prevalence of human trafficking in <br /> this area.
