The purpose of the vacation of the real property is to allow for the <br />Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization (NNRO) to continue its <br />development of the Hill Street Neighborhood. Currently, the street in question is a <br />dead -end between 4 vacant lots, all of which are owned by the NNRO. The street <br />serves little purpose and detracts aesthetically from the neighborhood. Granting a <br />vacation will allow for the land at the site in question to be replatted and combined with <br />adjacent lots for the construction of single - family homes. The vacation of the street is a <br />necessary step toward arranging the planned homes in a fashion that promotes both <br />aesthetics and growth in the neighborhood. <br />SECTION V.
