i <br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. A. H. Rice absent. <br />Mr. W. K. McHenry with Mr. W. R..Baker appeared before the Board and <br />took up the matter of plat of Baker & MaRtary of property fronting on kishawaka <br />Avesnue, filed in October 1917,,requesting the Board to approve of the same. Mr. <br />Attorney P. E. Lambert appeared represent.iag the Johnson property fronting on <br />Mishawaka Avenue and sjoini.sg said McHenry &1ftker Plat, and objected that said <br />McHenry & AW!'r Plat be approved. The Board decided to defer act.don on said plat <br />until. '�:45, P U. 'this 18th. day of December 1917. <br /><t Mr. H. A. Barnes appeared before the Board and requested that the <br />Board allow him a final estimate on the grading of Portage Avenue. No action taken <br />oa same* <br />The City Engineer submitted a list of outstanding accounts for the <br />Beard's consideration. The same was referred totthe City Attorney for action. <br />!/ Attorney Wm. A. McIneray, representing the White Cmnstructien Company, <br />met with the Board and requested that the Board approve of allowance for the amount <br />of morbor cushion that had been put in under brick pavement under street car <br />tracks on Eddy Street and Mishawaka Avenue. The Board instructed the City Engineer <br />to prepare a statement of the amount and present., same at session to be held at 7:45 <br />PM. This 18th. day of Dec. 1917. <br />The following resolution was approved at the request of the Board of <br />J/ Park Commissioners. <br />R E S 0 h U T I O N. <br />Be It Resolved by the Board, that Kemble Avenue is <br />ordered closed until further notice, sixteen feet is center <br />of street between Indiana Avenue and Ewing Avenue <br />leaving a driveway on each side. Same to be used <br />for the Rum Village Slide. <br />Bids were received, read and referred to the: City Engineer for pipe <br />L/ sewer on Dayton Street from Marine Street to the 1st. -alley west of Leer Street. <br />Bid of Hoban & Roach. <br />10 inch pipe sewer, per lin ft...................$ 2.35 <br />8 inch pipe sewer, per lie ft................... .75 <br />o inch pipe sewer, per lin ft................... .85 <br />Manholes, per ft. in depth ....................... 6.00 <br />Manholes, curbs and covers, each.... ............. 15.00 <br />Bid of Bruns De Paepe. <br />10 inch pipe sewer, per lin. ft.
