�6 Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. Mr. Ji W. Woodward appearedbefore the Board and eompj fined of electric light ost on North Shore Br_ive just west of Ry. crossing, which stands in wa of tree. The 'Board instructed the Clerk to notify the electric company and have a report on same. ° Attorney H. A. 'fair and Mr. Carr representing the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Ry. Company appeared before the Board, in regard 60 the expense of paving that portion Jefferson Blvd. from Lincoln Way East to ✓ west line of Bridge over the St. Joseph River, and requested that this portion of pavement be eliminated. The Board took this matter under"adv isement. Mr. James Judie appeared before the Board -and acknowledged that he had put a shingle roof on a building in the fire limits. This matter wee discussed and Mr. Jas. Judie was instructed to appeared at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday November 27th. ,1917. The White Construction Company, represented by Mr. J. Doyle, requested of the Board that an extension of time in which to complete their Pavement improvement Contract on Eddy Street and Mishawaka`Avenue from Jiff rson Blvd. to Center of Nineteenth Street this City be granted to July 1st.,1918. It was revolved by unanimous consent of the Board that the time for the completion of the pavement improvement contract on Eddy Street and M'ishaiaka Avenue from Jefferson Blvd. to center of Nineteenth Street this city, be granted from this date to the 1st. day of June 1918. The Clerk instructed ✓ to notify said White Construction Com-Q&uy, of the name. This berg the date set for the roe* iv ing of bids for the sale of garbage and small dead aninals in this City', The Board finds that na b ids were received up to 10:00 A.Mthis 30th. day of November 1917 and hereby continues the time for receiving bids until 7:30 P.M.. this 30th. day of Nov., 1917. The following claims were presented to the Board.
