Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. f Hearing had do assessment roll and final estimate for water connection on, Miami Street from Fox. Street to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 549. ' In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter a remonstrator apeared but no writteen remora- gtrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rol roll filed October 16th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as; showw .on said rolls, and the Board further. find that the assessment roll filed October 16th.,1917 and the final estimate allowed October 16th.,1917 should be and the same are hereby in all things, ratified,.eonfirmed and approved. . Xhe Board after due consideration decided to defer all a.ctlon on said assessi mAnt roll until October 313t. ,1917 at 10:00 A . M. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Pavement on f Uiarmi Street from Fox Street to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 529. In the City of South Bend , Indiana. In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- stran:ce was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed October 16th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount of assesssments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed October 16th.,1917 and the final estimate allowed October 16th.,1917 should be and the same are het-eby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrane was filed. +he Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed October 16th.,1917 is benefitted in the .mount of such assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessm-nt rolls filed October 16th, 1917 and the final estimate allowed October 16th.,1917 should be and the same are hereby in all things rat if iedm confirmed and approved. Hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 559. for the Pavement On Jefferson Boulevard from West line of the Bridge over the St. Joseph River to Michigan Street, in the City of Solkth Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared bu t no written remon- strances were filed. And the Board beftg fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as inadif lea:_ Uod if ied to read for a Six (6") inch concrete base under pavement instead of a Five (5") inch base, and the some is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified. Resived further, that notices be published on the 2nd. day of November 1917 and on the 9th. day of November 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will recei ve bids for the con- struction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 20th. day of November 1917 +he Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Beard finds that no bids were received for the grade, curb and walk on Lincoln War West from Olive Street to Fremont Street, under Improvement JResolution No. 5582, And after due consideration decided to deferr said advertising until +uesday November 13th.,1917 at 10:00 A.M. when said matter will be taken up.
