Board met. in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All mempers present. Bids were received opened and read for pipe sewer on Dayton Street ✓ from Marine Street to lst. alley east. The following communication was ordered sent to the Central Union Telephone Company. We wishto call your attention to the fact thgt the poles in the alley on the south side of Riverside Drive between Forest Avenue and Park Avenue have not as yet been removed as per order, also as you remember that the poles on the south side was to be removed by the placing of one pole across the street on the property line, thus removing five poles for the one additonal. Place have this: order taken care of and oblige. Mr. Anderson City Civil Engineer took up matter of sewer tap not being in in Mease Addition on Lincoln Way West. Reported that party could not find connection,3taps only put in by the City in 283 feet. The Board informed him they would take care of relaying of pavement by the City. Partial estimate allowed H. L. Davis on Grade curb and walk on Carapau Street from Arthur Street to City Limits at...........................s600.00 Estimated cost of Pipe sewer on Plesant Street from Ninth Street to Eigth Street filed at.........................0.......................$960.00 Estimated cost of Pipe sewer on Dayton Street from Marine Street to Alley west of Leer Street Q.t..........................................0830.00 Petition received and read and referred to the City Engineer for a rsport for grade, curb and walk on Randolph Street from Marine Street to Leer St., Petition requested that this petition be held up until April 1st. ,1918. Same was ordered by the Board to be brought up for decision April lst.,1917. Communication received and read from the Traveler's Indemnity Company of Hartford, Conn. in regard to report on boilers in the City Hall. Same read and placed on file. Engineeri filed assessment roll and final estimate for water connections on Miami Street from Fox Street to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 549. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published on the 18th. day of October 1917 and on the 25th. day of October 1917 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 30th. day of October 1917 at 7:45 P.U. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above coAtract be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of tAis resolution shall be published on the 18th. day of October 1917 and on the 25th. day of October 1917 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 30th. day of November 1917 at 7:45 P.M.
