Mulder Waterproofing & Sealants, Inc. <br />MWS Employee Handbook <br />714 Drug Testing <br />Date Approved: 3/24/2003 <br />MWS is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all <br />employees. Using or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the job may pose serious <br />safety and health risks. To help ensure a safe and healthful working environment, job applicants <br />and employees may be asked to provide body substance samples (such as urine and/or blood) to <br />determine the illicit or illegal use of drugs and alcohol. Refusal to submit to drug testing may <br />result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. As noted in the <br />Mulder Waterproofing Drug and Alcohol Policy, the following employees are subject to random <br />and for cause drug testing: <br />* All employees drawing a salary or wage from MWS <br />* All MWS employees on personal, medical or family leave <br />* All MWS employees on layoff status that are currently drawing unemployment benefits <br />Copies of the drug testing policy will be provided to all employees. Employees will be asked to <br />sign an acknowledgement form indicating that they have received a copy of the drug testing <br />policy. Questions concerning this policy or its administration should be directed to the Personnel <br />Manager. <br />54 <br />
