Kil, AIA, NCARB <br />Architect <br />RE: Liberty Tower Exterior Renovations, Project 118-086R <br />For City of South Bend, Board of Public Works <br />227 W. Jefferson Blvd, Room 1316 <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />This addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Bidding Documents only <br />as noted below. The remainder of the drawings and Specifications are to remain in their entirety. <br />Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. This addendum consists <br />of the following changes identified in bold: <br />PR+ JJ E T MANUAL: <br />A. Special Provisions, Art. XIII. Prosecution and Progress: <br />1. After subparagraph B.1.a, add a sub paragraph as follows: <br />a. "BA.A.1) Division A Roof Work shall follow the completion of Division B <br />Masonry Wall Repair." <br />B. Special Provisions, Art XIV, Change of Contract Time: <br />1. After subparagraph B.4 add a subparagraph as follows: <br />a. "B.5 The Department of Public Works will consider requests for extensions <br />of contract time if reasonable justification is provided. <br />C. Special Provisions, Art XX, Description of Work: <br />1. Subparagraph B.1, Division A: Base Bid: Upper Level Roof Work: <br />a. Delete subparagraphs B.1.1 and B.1.2. <br />D. Special Provisions, Art XXI, Contract Allowances: <br />1. Subparagraph B.5: Add the following subparaphs: <br />a. B.5.a Division A Allowances: <br />1. Contingency for Unforseen Conditions: $5,000 <br />2. Allowance for reimbursement to owner of property north of project <br />to allow access to north wall: $5,000 <br />b. B.5.b Division B Allowances: <br />1.
