We believe that hard work and perseverance are required for the prevention of injuries and <br />illnesses, with the crew leader being the key to a successful result. <br />A. Eqsg:> To assist in the detection and elimination of unsafe conditions and work <br />procedures. <br />The following guidelines will be followed: <br />a. These meetings are held at the beginning of each job and at least weekly <br />thereafter, according to the various circumstances involved or when <br />necessary to clear working procedures. No set pattern will suit all cases. <br />It is important that the crew leader talk daily on injury prevention and <br />immediately upon witnessing an unsafe act. <br />b. The attendance and subjects discussed will be documented and <br />maintained on file for one year. <br />C. Copies of the minutes will be made available to the employees by <br />posting or other means. <br />(certain employees, as may be designated by their supervisors, will assist) <br />1. Conduct in-house safety inspections with supervisor concerned. <br />2. Investigate incidents to uncover trends. <br />Review incident reports to determine means or elimination. <br />4. Accept and evaluate employee suggestions. <br />Review job procedures and recommend improvements (Job Safety Analysis <br />Form is available in the Appendix) <br />Monitor the safety program effectiveness. <br />Promote and publicize safety. <br />
