She noted in her memorandum that she has determined that the City has no <br />need for the property; the intended use of the petitioner is appropriate; and the petitioner is <br />eligible to purchase the property as an abutting property owner. Ms. Jennings stated she is <br />therefore requesting to advertise the sale of the property per I.C. 36- 1 -11 -5. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roos and carried, the above request was approved. <br />TABLE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE ,RECEIPT _OF BIDS -- SALE. OF CITY - <br />OWNED PROPERTY — 802 SOUTH KALEY STREET <br />Mr. Meteiver requested the Board table this request to purchase Vacant City -Owned Property at <br />the above address. He noted this request is from a not - for - profit corporation and does not require <br />advertising the sale. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roos and carried, the <br />above request was tabled. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET — GOODSON COURT SEWER EXTENSION — PROJECT NO. <br />112 -035 (SEWER INSURANCE FUND) <br />Mr. Gilot advised that the Title Sheet for the above referenced project was being presented at this <br />time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roos and carried, the <br />above referenced Title Sheet was approved and signed. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 33 -2012 — A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />INDIANA BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following Resolution <br />was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 33-2012 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE <br />DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, I.C. 36 -9 -6 -1 gives the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend the <br />right and duty to have custody of, control of, use of, and dispose of in accordance with Indiana <br />statutes, all real and personal property owned by the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend passed as amended on <br />January 11, 1988, Ordinance No. 7847 -88 which mandates the Board of Public Works of the <br />
