Airport Economic Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />Ms. Jones asked if Dakota specializes in <br />grocery stores, or if that is one of many <br />specialties. Mr. Relos responded that it is <br />one of many things they do, but they do a lot <br />of analyses for grocery stores. The sales <br />forecasts is an important part of what they <br />will supply here that is different from the <br />Buxton study. <br />Mr. Davis joined the meeting at this time. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Dakota Worldwide for the scope of services <br />proposed and an amount not to exceed <br />$8,100. <br />Mr. Davis expressed his gratitude for the <br />Commission's funding of this study and for <br />working with the steering committee in <br />general. <br />(3) Resolution No. 3034 related to acquisition <br />of property at 1502 S. Kendall. <br />Mr. Relos noted that 1502 S. Kendall was <br />added to the Airport Economic Development <br />Area's Acquisition List by Resolution <br />No. 2668 on May 21, 2010. The property is <br />a two story, three bedroom 1,122 square foot <br />single family rental unit. It is currently <br />vacant, so no relocation costs will be <br />necessary. Resolution No. 3034 sets the <br />acquisition offering price at $22,050, the <br />average of two independent appraisals. <br />8 <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />DAKOTA WORLDWIDE FOR THE SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES PROPOSED AND AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $8,100 <br />
