<br />All of the above bids were referred to the City Civil Engineer for
<br />tabulation to be reported back at 7:45 P.M. this llth. day of September 1917.,
<br />Mr. G. U. Bingham of the St. Joseph Loan & Trust Company with two others
<br />a )geared before the Board in regard to defective sewer connection at Sibley property
<br />owned by Gish Estate on -South Michigan Street. The Board instructed City Engineer to
<br />get a report from Hoban & Roach of how much to repair same, and have same for evening
<br />session. ,
<br />Mr. Goo. M. Urey, Sexton of the City Cemetery'appeared before the Board
<br />and requested an increase in his salary to $1200.00 a year. The same was no granted.
<br />the Board took up the matter of poles on Eddy Street and Mishawaka
<br />Avenue and discussed the same with the White Construction Company representatives. Also
<br />brought up matter of curb on Mishawaka Avenue. The Board adjourned to take trip over said
<br />avenue to see conditions as they'aJ?e on the ground...
