<br />Hearing had ,on assessment roll and final estimate.for I.ipe sewers on
<br />Rush , Milton, Fellows, .Columbia, St. Joseph, Carroll Streets, Benton Court from
<br />Calvert Street to St. Joseph Street, under Improvement Resolution No.` 464. In ,the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remonstrated agdinst
<br />assessments, but no written remonstrance was f iie4. The Board therefore find that the
<br />property assessed in said roll is benef itted n the amounts of assessments as shown on said
<br />roll, nd the Board further find that the asses€men.t roll filed June 12th.,1917
<br />and the final estimate allowed June 12th.,1917 should be and the same is hereby in all
<br />tb ings ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />on Corby Street from Niles Avenue to St. Louis Blvd. under Improvement Resolution
<br />No. 498 In the City Of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the bove matter no'remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
<br />was filed. The Board find that the property assessed in said roll .is benef itted in the
<br />amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the
<br />assessments roll filed June 5th.,1917 and the final -estimate allowed June 5th.,1917
<br />should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />Gravel roadway on Pokagon Street from Tecumseh Avenue to Michigan Central Railway,
<br />-under Improvement Resolution No. 419. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.

<br />strance was filed.. 'Tb.e :Beard therefore find that the property is benefitted in the
<br />amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the
<br />assessment rolled filed -June 5th.,1917 and the final estimate allowed June 5th.,

<br />Attorney Vitus Jones, Attorney fo1-t1scHarter Realty Company appeared
<br />before the Board in regard to the cha of crosswalk approaches in streets in Harter
<br />Heights Addition,, -where contractor he laid pavement and sidewalks. This matter was
<br />referred to the CityEngineer to instruct contractors 'about how to lay same and to
<br />Y make the necessary adjustments. The matter . of having Niles Avenue between Howard Street
<br />and Napoleon Blvd. widened from twenty (20) feet to'Twenty five (25) feet was taken
<br />up with the Board by,Attor..ney Jones. No action taken on same.'
<br />Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimate for pipe sewers
<br />an Haney Avenue and High Street from Broadway and Indiana A venue to:.Michigan.-Street,
<br />under Improvement Resolution ko. 436. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Resolved , that notices as to the . assessment& as required jby statute
<br />be published on the 29th. day of June 1917 and on the 6th. day of July 1917 in the
<br />South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of
<br />sch- assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 17th. day of July 1917 at 7:45 P.M.
<br />Resolved futher, that the entire work under the above contracts be
<br />accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed.. Notice of this resolution
<br />shall be published on the 29th. day of June 1917 and on the 6th. day of July 1917
<br />in the South Bend Daily Tribune. stating that this Bdard :will `.give a hearing on the
<br />acceptance S such work at its office in the City Nall on the 17th. dray of July 1917 at
