<br />benefits in tka. matter of Vacation Resolution No, 34 ,for `vacation of Scott Street
<br />from alley north ' of Leon Court to polat 30' Peet north of the S.S. B. & S. Ry.
<br />Co. and Leon Court from Scott Street to alley west of Scott Street and alley north of
<br />Leon dourt from Scott Street to alley west of Scott Street, in the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no*written-remon-
<br />strance was filed.{Property owners appeared and objected to amount ofidamages
<br />also c los ingr of Scott l�Street) The Board after due c.ohs iderat ion decided to defer
<br />said hearing until Tuesday May lst.,1917 at 7:45 P.M.
<br />Board instructed clerk to notify Mr.-,C. C. Hanch, Treas, of the
<br />Studebaker Corporation of America to be present at said session.

<br />In the above matter a number of property ,owners appeared and remon-
<br />stranced against amount of assessment, also .a written remonstrance was filed by
<br />Thad. M. Talcott against`amo-dnt of damages allowed for land takan. The Board after
<br />due consideration modified said assessment roll as follows:
<br />That the amount of
<br />$1.00 be deducted from lots.facing Leer Street south of Calvert Street,except Teel
<br />Tract or from lots 78,79980,81,82, and 83 Hisher's South Side Survey, and from
<br />lots 1,2,3,5 and 6 Yoder s Survey and lots 1,2,3,4,5.6,7, Geyer'a Sub Div, of lot
<br />-4Yoder's Survey and lot.82 South Side Add and Teal Tract, making $20400 in all to
<br />-be assessed to the Kathryn M. Leer Bosman tract on Leer Street, increasing her
<br />,assessment -of benefit -to $150.00 in stead of $130.00, and the Board finds that all
<br />'ogler property except part modified in roll to be benefitted and damaged respectively
<br />as shown can said roll filed March 6th.,1917 and said roll is hereby in all. things
<br />ratified, donf armed add app rovsd as modified and all action unde r Condemnation
<br />Resolution °No. 47 is .hereby concluded.
