In regard to complaint received from John"R. H,aughton who owns store <br />.building located at the southeast corner of Division Street and Michigan Street <br />about watchman's house of the Grnad Trunk Western Ry. Company obstructing view of <br />widdnws of said store building on Division Street side. The Board ordered that <br />the Grand Trunk Western Ry. Company be notified to move watchman's house to the <br />east ten (101) feet. <br />. In the:-.md:.ter of advertising for bids for s. gravel pavement on Ewing <br />Avenue from Miami Street to a, point 1320 feet west of. kiiami Street, the Board ordered <br />that the same be held up until after the trunk sewer was constructed on said Avenue. <br />Petition presented by a number of property holders for a pavement on <br />East Calvert Street from Aichigan Street to Rush'Street. The same was read and <br />f placed on file. <br />Petition received for a pavement on East Howard Street from Niles Ave. <br />d to Notre Dame Avenue. The same was read and placed on file. <br />All action on petition for a pavement on St. Louis Street from Jefferson <br />Blvd. to Division Street held up for one week or Tuesday April 10th.,1917. at <br />J 10: 00 A.M. ' ) <br />Plat of H. B. White's Southlawn addition to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, presented to the Board. No Action taken on the same. <br />The following petitions were presented to the Board and resolutions <br />were ordered prepared. <br />Pipe sewer on Bowman Street from East line of Southeast Addition to <br />Leer Street, Pipe sewer on Leer Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue, Pipe <br />Jsewer on Fox Street from Miami Street to Leer Street, pipe sewer on Donald Street <br />from Liami Street to Leer Street and vacation of Bowman Street from Leer Street to <br />J1st. alley west of ° Afar ine Street. <br />The Board instructed the City'Engineer to draw a plan of Ewing <br />Avenue from White's Southlawn Addition west to.the corner of Miami Street and Ewing. <br />Avenue and submit same for meeting at 10: 00 A.M.
