The following communication received by the Board from Mr. Eli. F. Secbirt, City <br />Attorney, read and placed on filed <br />File 80 <br />March 14,1917. <br />E,, F. Seebirt, City Attorney. <br />South -Bend, Indiana. <br />° <br />Dear S it <br />Replying to your letter of March 13th., in regard to pavement -on Eddy <br />Street and Mishawaka Avenue, wish to advise that the communication which Mr. Eiimens <br />sent you is the regular form which he had used for this purposes in notifying the <br />Board of Works to let our portion of the contract as a part of the general contract <br />when they contract for their own portion of the street would therefore advise there is <br />no question at all regarding the intent od the communication. <br />Yours very truly , <br />F. HARDY, <br />General Manager. <br />Engineer filed assessment roll of awards of damages and assessments .of <br />benefits under Vacation Resolution No, ?3.for the Vacation of Four, alleys in Elliott <br />Tutt's Add ition to City of South Bend, Ind. between Tutt and Dunham Street, also <br />Dunham Street from Lot 8 to let 16 in Elliott .Tutt's Addition, <br />The Board has ordered that notices of such.awards of damages and assessments <br />of benefits be ser ved by the police department according to law, and that a hearing be <br />had on the 24th. day of April 1917 at 12 7: 45 P.M. for the_ purpose of hearing or <br />receiving objections of any persons interested in the saf -&matter. ° <br />President. <br />
