T Board met in regular session at '7:45 P.M. All members present. Hearing had on assessment roll of awards of -damages and assessment of benefits in the matter of appropriat ing. a strip of land for the opening Vf a highway or boulevard as follows: - Beginning on the west line of Notre Dame at a_ point 32. 6P, feet south of the south east corner of lot 13 in C oquillard's Second Addition; thence . northwesterly on a straight line to the south west c orner of lot 7 in said Addition which point is on the east line of St. Peter Street; thence south on the east line of St. Peter Street to the south west corner of lot 12 in Coquillard's Second Addition; thence south easterly on the southerly line of lots 12 and 14 in said Addition to the south east corner of lot 14 in said Addition; thence north to the place of beg inn ing. Except north and south public alley between Lots 10,12 and 13, 14 and except the east and west public alley between lots 7 and 10 in said Coquillard's Second Addition. Same to be known as North Side Boulevard along north river bank from Notre Dame Street to St. Peter Street. Under Condemnation Resolution No.. 46. In the City of South Bend, Ind iana . In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed by Attorney Geo. Crane representing the Geo. Cutter Company.against the amount of damages allowed. The Board after due consideration over -rule remonstrance filed at this session and find that the property mentioned in said roll filed January 23rd.1917 are benefitted and damaged respectively as shown on said roll with the exception of property owned by Albert & Bessie C. W11s assessment reducecrfrom10.a0 to $5.00 by reason of them owinf one lot instead of two. One lot of 55 ft. The amount of5: 00 to be paid out of City s funds 4 and said roll is hereby in all things rat i- f ied o onf irmed and approved as modified and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 4. is hereby .con6luz-ted. 2e i'0110wiiig, assessment roll -approved.
