For the
Gumwood Road project, utility relocations were the critical path element. When utilities relocations starting taking more than the
allocated time early in the process, Dale and Myron worked to find solutions prior to the letting of Phase 2. Working with St. Joseph
County to issue a change order for the tree clearing, they were able to complete utility relocation in Phase 1, which eliminated potential
delays to construction. Dale and Myron provided careful project management, fluidly re -ordering tasks to make sure utility relocation
work did not delay the project.
