Broden, Gavin Ferlic, Sharon L. <br /> McBride <br /> Committee Members Absent: None <br /> Other Council Present: Karen White, Tim Scott, Oliver Davis <br /> Other Council Absent: Jake Teshka, Regina Williams-Preston <br /> Others Present: Bianca Tirado, Graham Sparks, Bob Palmer, Gabriel Murei <br /> Presenters: Mike Danch, Aaron Perri <br /> Agenda: Bill No. 57-18- Alley Vacation- First/West Alley from <br /> Lawrence Street to North/South Alley between Corby <br /> Street and Howard Street <br /> Bill No. 58-18-Alley Vacation- Sampson Street between <br /> Randolph St. and East/West Alley <br /> Committee Chair John Voorde called to order the Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br /> meeting at 4:33 p.m. He introduced members of the Committee and proceeded to give the floor to <br /> the presenters. <br /> Bill No. 57-18-Alley Vacation- First/West Al1eN from Lawrence Street to North/South Alley <br /> between Corby Street and Howard Street <br /> Mike Danch, Danch, Harner & Associates with offices located at 1643 Commerce Drive, South <br /> Bend, IN, stated, This is an east/west alley between Corby and Howard Street. We are asking it to <br /> be vacated. It is close to the same project we did townhomes on. It is just to the north of that but <br /> we would like to do some additional residential development and in order to do that I'm asking to <br /> vacate that east/west alley. It is one hundred and fifty-eight(158)feet long. That is all we are trying <br /> to do so we can redistribute the property. <br /> Committee Chair Voorde opened the floor to questions from Committee and Council Members. <br /> Committee Chair Voorde asked, And the Board of Public Works approved this? <br /> Mr. Danch replied, Yeah, the Board of Public Works approved everything and the petitioner <br /> actually owns the property on both sides.
