RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AWARDING AUSTIN PRICE WITH THE <br />"MAY 2012 SOUTH BEND CITIZEN YOUTH AWARD" <br />GWi" the South Bend Common Council notes that the youth of our city are the hope and <br />promise for a better tomorrow in our community; and <br />6A)" the Common Council is proud to recognize that AUSTIN PRICE attended LaSalle <br />Academy and is now a Freshman at Washington High School where he is part of the South Bend <br />Community School Corporation's Medical /Allied Health Magnet Program; and <br />(W)" the Council notes that AUSTIN is a very talented and gifted - having earned <br />straight A's this entire school year; is fluent in Spanish and wants to study at either Stanford <br />University of USC as he pursues a career goal of becoming an anesthesiologist; and <br />GX" AUSTIN is a member of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church; loves to <br />play football; is a wrestler; and many of his teachers at Washington believe he is a great role model <br />for other students and the youth of our city. <br />c4ououi, <br />Tay <br />o�c�.uf� �`P,nnd, �naia/ na, as <br />follows: <br />Section I. On behalf of the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, the Common <br />Council is pleased to publicly present to AUSTIN PRICE, a Freshman at Washington High School <br />where he is part of the Medical /Allied Health Magnet Program, with the "MAY 2012 SOUTH <br />BEND CITIZEN YOUTH AWARD ". <br />Section II. The Common Council thanks AUSTIN for working and studying hard to <br />become a role model who reflects excellence through his academic performance, his positive <br />attitude, his leadership abilities, and especially through his many hours of volunteering for the <br />March of Dimes, AIDS Ministries, Real Services, Inc., and at the St. Joseph Regional Medical <br />Center. Congratulations and we wish you continued success in pursuing your career goals. <br />Section III.
