A 1.06 Post -Construction Phase <br />A. Upon written authorization from Ownerduring the Post -Construction Phase Engineer shall: <br />1 Together with Owner, visit the Project to observe any apparent defects in the Work, assist <br />Owner in consultations and discussions with Contractor concerning correction of any such <br />defects, and make recommendations as to replacement or correction of defective Work, if <br />any. <br />2. Together with Owner or Owner's representative, visit the Project within one month before <br />the end of the correction period to ascertain whether any portion of the Work is subject to <br />correction. <br />Perform or provide the following additional Post -Construction Phase tasks or deliverables;: <br />[Here list any such tasks or deliverables] <br />B. The Post -Construction Phase services may commence during the Construction Phase and, if not <br />otherwise modified in this Exhibit A, will terminate twelve months after the commencement of the <br />Construction Contract's correction period. <br />A 1.07 Cardno's Scope of Work <br />A. Cardno will perform a feasibility study of the West bank of the St. Joseph River along Riverside <br />Drive at the Yukon Street Intersection. The minimum length of examination will be from Vassar <br />Avenue on the south end to 600 feet north at the Riverside Drive intersection with Hudson Avenue, <br />if not all the way to Angela Boulevard. <br />The Following tasks will be completed as part of this study. Please refer to Cardno's initial proposal <br />further detail. <br />1. Identification of construction site. <br />2. Update any outdated parameters and address information gaps. <br />3. Complete preliminary engineering/calculations. <br />4. Facilitate meetings with landowner's regarding the proposed project. <br />5. Complete conceptual drawings. <br />6. Determine preliminary design and construction project cost estimates and time lines. <br />7. Determine easements and land ownership. <br />8. Right of entry coordination with any parcels adjacent to or within property. <br />9. Early Utility Coordination <br />10. Determine unusual physical and/or social costs of the proposed project. <br />11. Model functionality and/or impact of proposed project with respect to condition of the <br />water body. <br />12. Conduct a wetland functional assessment or vegetation survey. <br />13. Geotechnical investigation and report <br />14. Conduct an environmental impact assessment addressing pre and post project conditions <br />with special attention to wetlands, water quality, and flooding. <br />15. Determine funding sources for design and construction project.. <br />16.
