In no event shall the rate of pay forapprentices exceed that rate provided for in the classification of machine the apprentice may be operating as contained in Article VI of this Agreement. Apprentices shall be paid according to the Apprenticeship Introduction Slip issued to the Employer and the Apprentice at the time the apprentice is dispatched by the Union to the Employer. The Introduction Slip must indicate the progress status of the apprentice. As the apprentice progresses in status, he shall be paid pursuant to the rates set forth in this Agreement.
