The final agenda item was an introduction of the newly hired City Engineer by <br />Interim BPW Director Gary Gilot. The new engineer who replaces the retired <br />Carl Littrell is Mike Mecham. He is a civil engineer with year of environmental <br />experience in Bremerton, Washington. His expertise should be a great benefit to <br />the City as it implements the EPA decree requiring South Bend separate storm <br />and sanitary sewer systems. <br />There being no further business to come before the committee at this time, Vice - <br />Chairperson David Varner adjourned the meeting at 4:14 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />David Varner, Chairperson <br />Public Works and Property Vacation Committee <br />
