loud. Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash stated that Brothers is currently trying to address the problem. Their restaurant license could be in jeopardy as well. The problem mostly seems to be at the time of night when the bar is closing down and all the patrons are leaving for the night. Sheriff Grzegorek stated that Brothers Bars are a chain and most of them are located in stand alone buildings rather than in a complex. SBPD Uniform Division Chief Walters stated that he was pleased with the relationship and communication that has developed with the local universities. Ann -Carol Nash praised Heidi Prescott's article about attracting young adults to the City. Gavin Ferlic would like more information from students as to what do they need to live, work and play in the in the downtown area, and, what do we need to do to keep them living in the area. Mike Carrington stated that they needed safety for one thing. Gavin Ferlic and Tim Sexton would like to see a survey of students from 20 — 30 years old, and find out what attracts them to stay. Luella Webster thanked the South Bend Police Department for their good work at Howard and St. Louis. There were kids trying to cross the street to the park and vehicles were speeding and not yielding to them. She stated that 3 police officers were assigned to that corner and 11 vehicles were given citations. May 18th, 19th and 20th is the graduation weekend for Notre Dame and St. Mary's. There will a lot of attendees for the graduation and within the city, as there is an average of 8.5 tickets for each grad. Tom Szekendi of ADT Security Systems introduced himself and stated that he would be happy to help with the security of student residences. The next meeting will be when the students return to school for the fall. The fall meetings will focus on housing strategy, surveying the students, perspective of the summer and mentoring. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the IU School of Medicine's Harper Hall Multipurpose Room located on the eastern side of the campus.
