M� <br />Community /Campus Advisory Coalition (CCAC) <br />INDIANA UtiIURSIT) S«UTH BEAD o <br />The April 25, 2012 meeting of the Community /Campus Advisory Coalition was held in <br />the Common Council Informal Meeting Room. The meeting was called to order at 3:32 <br />p.m. by South Bend Common Council Member at Large Member Gavin Ferlic. <br />Mr. Ferlic asked that everyone introduce themselves and to please sign in. Attendees <br />included: City Council Attorney Kathy Cekanski - Farrand, City Council Members Karen <br />White and Tim Scott, University of Notre Dame Representatives Tim Sexton, Jeff <br />Shoup, Mike Seamon, Student Body Vice - President Brett Rocheleau, Campus Housing <br />Manager Patrick Kulisek, Holy Cross College Representative Dan Cochran, Indiana <br />University Medical School Representative Gail. Mancini, Ivy Tech Representative Tracie <br />Davis, Robinson Center Adult Program Coordinator Marguerite Taylor, AmeriCorps <br />Staff Member Luella Webster, Mark Kramer of Kramer Properties, Alcoholic Beverage <br />Board Representative, Mike Carrington, South Bend Police Uniform Division Chief Jeff <br />Walters, St. Joseph County Police Representatives Michael Grzegorek, and Attorney <br />Eric Tamashasky, Attorney Richard Nussbaum, Notre Dame Graduate John Deckert, <br />City of South Bend Employees, Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash, Paralegal <br />Pamela Paluszewski, ADT Representatives, Linda Sokol and Tom Szekendi, South <br />Bend Tribune Reporter Margaret Fosmoe and Marisa Tati from The Observer. <br />The committee agreed to vote Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash in as Secretary. <br />Gavin Ferlic asked the committee for updates, particularly relating to the grandfathered <br />properties that may be used for student housing. <br />Tim Sexton stated that they have joined with Cathy Toppel and Kathy Cekanski - Farrand <br />to collaborate on the updating of the properties. Mike Carrington inquired if some of the <br />areas are zoned for multiple - person housing and some for family housing. Kathy <br />Cektanski - Farrand stated that Area Plan should have maps relating to housing. Mark <br />Kramer added that there are sometimes certain exemptions too. Patrick Kulisek stated <br />that wwwrentndu.com was not a Notre Dame affiliated site. It used to be a student <br />initiative but it is no longer and Notre Dame is looking at getting the website name <br />removed. <br />HOLY CROSS <br />Holy Cross Representative Dan Cochran stated that he had no updates. <br />
